Shipping policy

Please note we are still working on our shipping policy at this moment.

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Please note:

  • We do not control our partner companies and/or assosiates related the delevery service.
  • Delays related to the final desitnation may be expected (outside Tokyo area).
  • We will ship your products at a timely manner.
  • We are not responsible for delays and/or loss due any natural order, disaster or "act of God".

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.  The Estimated delivery time is calculated based on the average time it takes your order to be delivered after being fulfilled.

You can also check on our free shipping in orders over 5000 JPY. 

Local delivery

At this moment we do not offer local delivery (Same Day Delivery), for  our customers in Tokyo Metropolitan Area or The Greater Tokyo Area (23 Special Wards), please note we have an average delivery time of 2 days.

Deliveries are made (completed) from 8:00 am to 21:00 on Mon to Fri but in the case you need a differed time for delivery please let us know in advance. We will contact you via email message with the provided contact information at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. 

In-store pickup

At this moment we can not offer in store pick up, otherwise anounced in our website or channels of communication.

Any Pop-up store or special event attendance may be counted as "in-store pickup".

International Shipping

We are not offering international shipping. 

At this time, we do not ship and refuse to reach out to any contact within countries which are in an embargo, legal international and or diplomatic relations exclusion with Japan. 

If you reach an agreement with Aotori Japan, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT or similar that may apply), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Aotori Japan is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. Any other extra fees, charges, taxes or form of extra payment required by the government of the country which is being shipped are to be paid by the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 3 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@email.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes.

If you have a P.O. Box and please note that one of our carriers may falls into their internal policies of no delivery to this kind of addresses, please let us know in advance if you have a delivery at a P.O. Box to avoid any missunderstanding.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We do not accept returns after delivery.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@email.com with your order number and a photo(s) of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
